Steel Center, a student focused public school that delivers high quality Career & Technical Education for eleven school districts in southeastern Allegheny County has an immediate opening for a highly motivated, results oriented, Accounting Professional. This position will be responsible for assisting in implementing the procedures and operations of the business office business function, budgeting, payroll monitoring, audit preparation and various other accounting related functions. Requirements include: bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area; minimum 3 years of Accounting or Auditing experience; experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel; excellent oral, written, presentation, communication and organizational skills. CPA or aspiring CPA candidates and those experienced with accounting/financial software are encouraged to apply. Competitive compensation with an annualized starting salary range of $48,000 to $60,000 and an excellent benefits package will be offered.
