CLEARANCES  

In order to enter the school building during school hours, you must have your clearances on file with the School District.  You will also need your clearances to help for classroom field trips, or do other classroom activities in the school.   

In addition, each volunteer must print and complete the attached Volunteer/Chaperone Disclosure Form click on the following link for the Volunteer Disclosure form:

Pennsylvania Criminal History Check

• Free for volunteers
• Go to New Record and follow the instructions through to the Certification Page. Once the Search Results Table appears, click on the Control Number (write down the Control Number for future reference). The Record Check Details page is opened. Click on the Certification Page to access your official Clearance. The Record Check Details page is only a receipt and not acceptable as a clearance.
• Print two certification pages—one for you and one for your personnel file.

• Free for volunteers
• The Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance application can now be submitted online. You must create an account or log in if you already have an account. Note: you will need an email address to create an account. Creating an account and submitting your clearance application online will give you immediate access to your results or the status of your results if your results cannot be processed immediately

• The volunteer has been a resident of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for the entirety of the previous 10 years, you can sign the ACT 153 VOLUNTEER AFFIDAVIT
• Mrs. Michelle Fusco in the Superintendents’ Office will notarize the affidavit for the School District by appointment only. Please call to schedule your appointment 412-881-2227 x2400.
