My name is Megan Williams, Learning Support Teacher, grades K-2. This will be my 9th year teaching at Elroy; however, this is my 20th year as a special education teacher. I graduated college from Carlow University, where I obtained my bachelor’s degree in education, with a dual certification in special education, grades K-12, and elementary education, grades K-6 grade. I also achieved a master's degree in education with a specialization in applied behavioral analysis- autism track. I am currently obtaining my license to be certified as a licensed behavioral specialist.
Before teaching at Elroy, I worked at an alternative school teaching students with Autism and Emotional support. I then worked at the Penn Hills School District as an Emotional Support Teacher until I started working at Elroy. I live in Jefferson Hills with my husband, my 15-year-old son, and our two labs, Dexter and Chance. In our free time, we love to listen to our son play his guitar, go to his concerts, hike, swim, and travel. I am looking forward to another great year at Elroy!
