Hello! My name is Terri Kauric and I am the School Counselor here at Moore Elementary School. I am so excited to join the Brentwood School District Family as the Elementary School Counselor.
I was born and raised in Bethel Park, PA and attended Edinboro University of PA where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. I went on to receive my Master’s in School Counseling from Duquesne University. Upon graduation, I became a National Certified Counselor endorsed by the National Board for Certified Counselors.
My career has been spent working with children in various roles supporting mental health. I have worked as a School Counselor for the Carlynton School District, Prevention Specialist with various Washington County Schools, and a SAP Liaison and Outpatient Therapist with Holy Family Institute. I am currently working towards becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor.
I am enjoying getting to know each of the children through my weekly classroom lessons, small groups and individual sessions. I feel very fortunate to be a part of their classroom on such a consistent basis. I especially enjoy my Lunch Bunch time with students.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two teenage daughters. We enjoy kayaking, biking, camping and watching movies.
