Individual Counseling
Parents, teachers, and students themselves may request individual brief counseling. Individual brief counseling is a short-term service that promotes problem-solving and skill development as opposed to ongoing mental health therapeutic support. Recommendations for therapeutic community resources can be made if you feel your student needs more intensive support.

Group Counseling and Skill Development Groups
Group counseling is offered to help groups of students experiencing similar struggles or difficulties, such as loss of a loved one, making or maintaining friendships, finding academic success, etc. These groups allow students to support each other while also building skills to overcome their current struggle. Group sessions are offered at various times throughout the school year based on student need.

Classroom Curriculum
School counseling curriculum lessons are offered weekly to students at each grade level utilizing the PATHS curriculum.   The PATHS (Promoting Alternative Thinking Strategies) curriculum is a comprehensive program for promoting emotional and social competencies and reducing aggression and behavior problems in elementary school-aged children.
